When familiar faces disappeared from the island it left Mizi with a bittersweet feeling. He tried to focus on the positive though; the idea that those who disappeared finally got to go home. But in turn it was easier for him to put those familiar faces out of his mind completely. And that is what heâd done with Edgar. The months seemed to fuse together in a blur; he couldnât even remember how long it had been since Edgar disappeared. They hadnât exactly left on âgoodâ terms either, so...that made Mizi feel a bit..sad. However, he had managed to put the incident out of his mind once Edgar was gone.
Mizi never expected to see him again, so when he saw that familiar face sitting in the mini-cafe section of his bakery, he froze, then did a double take. After dusting off his apron and making sure he looked as âpresentableâ as possible, he briskly walked over to Edgarâs table. â...Is...there anything I can get for you? Edgar.â He offered the other a polite smile, but he was also expectant. Expecting Edgar to say something or make a comment regarding their shared familiarity.
